Tried to book Wilderness Lodge concierge...nothing avail May 9-14th...

I am so dissapointed, we would really like to stay at the Wilderness Lodge Concierge, we called this evening and nothing was avail. So for now, I just took a woodsview room. Do you think anything will open up? Is something going on at Disney at this time?

That time frame is the beginning of the 50th celebration of DisneyLand. There are events going on all over Walt Disney World and the rest of the Disney Theme Parks throughout the world, Paris, Tokyo, etc. I expect that week to be busy since it is the first week.

I haven't checked but have you tried Expedia? Last year, I tried to book Poly CL through Disney and it wasn't available but was able to reserve through Expedia. I later was able to get a reservation through Disney so that I could apply my AP rate and cancelled through Expedia. There was a small cancellation fee (maybe 10?) but it was worth it to know we had a room. Just a thought...

We are going the 19th-24th of May for the 1/2 Ironman at FW. The lodge was packed last year during the event.

Just an FYI in case you decide to go later in May.
