Trick or Treating?

I was wondering if there is anywhere to go trick or treating at disney other than going to the MNSSHP. My DSs (4 and 1 1/2) are going to be Woody and Buzz. I would appreciate any info. thanks

We were originally going to be at WDW on Halloween and I thought we would go to MNSSHP on a different day and take the kids to Celebration on Halloween to trick or treat. It's not that far of a drive from the resorts.

I stayed in Celebration last year, it is a big town, so where are you taking them trick or treating?

We aren't taking them now. We changed the dates of our trip and wont be there on Halloween. I don't know anything about Celebration. I thought we would go check it out before Halloween to figure out where to take the kids. It seemed like a safe place to go but I could be wrong.

Downtown Disney always has trick-or-treating at the stores. CMs are often dressed up and there may be characters around. There is also a costume contest.

I was very sad when our school system moved our Fall break from the week of Halloween to the week of Columbus Day. We had enjoyed several Halloweens in Orlando.

Sea World always has a nice event for kids the weekend prior to Halloween.

thanks for the info, that would be cool if there were some characters there too. Costume contests too, cool. Do you know if there is a schedule somewhere, maybe even closer to Halloween?
Speaking of your Columbus break, that is when we would usually vacation, but have changed weeks due to the outrageous crowds in Disney during that week. So now this year, Biketoberfest 1st and orlando 2nd week.

Is the trick or treating in DTD only Halloween night? Are there any places I can take my DD on Friday night?
