Hello all hope you are having a great day.

Here is my quick question:
Does DCA give out ToT bags or should we bring ToT bags?

The two years we went, they gave out bags, promoting recent or soon-to-be released movies. they are on the small side, so you could probably bring your own if you wanted.

They have bags available when you first enter the park, they are on tables as you just get through the gates. We went last year and my son and I filled our bags up. I thought it was big enough.

I would say bring your own as well. They have free plastic bags which can fill up quickly, you end up getting a lot of candy. Good idea to have a more sturdy and larger back-up bag. And yes, many adults will also Trick-O-Treat along with their kids. They're charging the adults too so they might as well get candy.

Glad to hear just went to JoAnn Fabrics and bought some really great glow in the dark halloween fabric to make ToT bags. Will be able to use them at home also.

When I called for tickets a few weeks ago the CM specifically told me not to bring our own bags, that they would be provided for us. Still thinking of bringing DD's bags since they love theirs so much. But it's good to know, just in case I forget. :)

You should still consider bringing your own bag, I'm sure you wouldn't be the only one. What the castmember said is probably Disney's way to handle 'candy control', their bags are most likely smaller than what a person would bring in with them, so smaller bags mean their candy quantity will last throughout the night. I doubt they'll deny you're child candy if they're using a different bag.

Plus they're doing this several nights so I'm sure they have tons and tons of bags. Each person pays for a ticket, we all have a right to receive $25-$30 dollars worth of candy which is why I say even the adults should join in:yay:.

We ended up with 11 pounds of candy, not counting all the carrots and apples we got (and all the carrots I ate :rotfl:). We used their bags, but dumped everything into a messenger bag that was way easier to carry especially on rides!!

BTW we were not trying to get so much, but we found a few candy stations at the end of the night that were very generous and hit a lot of them all night, reliving our childhood!:woohoo:
