Im planning on going in oct also this year and I wanted to know about mickey trick or treat.

Wanting to know how much it is per person and what do you actually do?

The dates I plan on going is oct 12th-16th sun-thur so halloween should be in full swing.

I had never been to disneyland until last aug so within a year I will have been 5 times I must be sucked into this disney stuff.

Mickey's Halloween Treat aka MHT is at DCA only. They close the park early and allowed guests with the special ticket entry. Cost is about $25 each, I think, we had AP's so got a discount so I may be confusing what we paid with what everyone pays. Anyway, you get into CA and they have ToT stations set up, you go to each station and get a handful of goodies. They usually have candy and some type of fruit, either fruit snacks, dried apples or raisins were the choices last year. You can do rides and they have characters out too, they do a whole party deal over by Monsters Inc.

PS, if you're going so much I hope you've upgraded to an AP. If not think about it, it's a great deal! :)

We went to the Trick-or-Treat thing at DCA last year for our first time, and we are planning on going this year as well. It was the highlight on our trip last time. Tons of candy, lots of great costumes...both customers and CMs, and little to no line for rides. Awesome time!

Oh yes I got APs in dec so Im using it too the full advantage being in utah love the discounts on food and got the disney rewards card for free stroller rental.

Is the trick or treat just on weekends or all week just want to make sure I get to go to it. If it just on sat I will have to adjust my planning.

We went last year and it was great! We are going in oct. 09 just for that reason so that we can go to the MHT! It was great! We went the first day and it wasn't busy at all we just walked onto all the rides and there were short lines at all the cm's and everyone can dress up not just the kids! I think we paid around $30 for our tickets because if you bought them online eairly they were cheaper! But it was great i would go for sure if i was you guys! Plus you get TONS of candy! Yea it was great!:cheer2:

Last year, Mickey's Halloween Treat were only on Thursdays and Fridays late Sep through October and the 29th, 30th & 31st. APs got first chance at tickets and i think it was $24 if purchased by a certain date ot $27 if purchased after that date. I believe this discount was also extended to disney visa cardholders but you had to call your order in to get the discount. Otherwise it was $29 to the general public if purchased beforehand and $39 if purchased day of.

We went for the 1st time last year and we all had a great time. We had 4 adulst and 3 kids (4, 6 and 9 yo). FYI, the line to meet Mickey was long about 30 minutes. Mickey and Minnie would take breaks. Sometimes there would only be Minnie, sometimes there would only be Mickey. When some people got to the front on the line and only one of them was there, they would ask to wait off at the side til both were available for pictures.

It's actually not on weekends, it's on Thursdays and Friday and then the 29th-30th & 31st, at least that's how it was last year. We went on the 29th.

i absolutely  MHT...the most amazing thing happened when I went...ok so if you cant tell I totally    mickey and I have pics of me and him in every outfit he owns:lmao: I went racing straight away at rope drop to go find him so I could get my pic with him...he was scheduled to be over in the golden state area and i was the first one at the rope...the cm manning the roped area asked me what I was going to do first and I told him... a few minutes before rope drop he came over to me and said hey I just got word they are moving him to paradise pier area so I raced over to that rope:rotfl: after thanking him profusely of course....well off i go and of course i was the only one because all these people were way behind me getting their candy and right as i was getting to golden dreams pavillion I turned my head and there he was all by himself no handler nothing and I guess I gasped because he waved and came over to me and put his hand on my shoulder and went all the way with me to where he was going to be and I got to be the first one to get my picture taken with him...some kids caught up with us and they were all trying to scream at him but he stayed with me:cloud9: that was the best thing ever...
