We are planning our 1st DL trip Oct 6th-10th! I want to take my DD on her 7th B-day to the Trick or Treat party. Someone had mentioned when they went they bought the $10.00 bag. Do you bring your own or buy them at the park? If you buy it at the park do they already have some stuff in them? Do they have different priced bags? Thanks!!!

When we attended last year, they had bags for all the guests. Once you get through the gate, there will be tables for you to grab one for each person. It was a heavy duty plastic bag and it held a lot of candy. :) Have a great time with your daughter!

We bought the bags last year for our kids but they were not necessary. The bags that they give you as you enter were perfectly fine. Everyone else in our party used those. They were sturdy & plenty big. Have fun!!!!! We had a blast!!!
Oh & to answer your other questions....they were empty & I only noticed 1 size/type of bag. They were made of black cloth with Mickey's Trick Or Treat Party printed on them. They were nice but the other bags worked just fine.

Yeah same here, I went last October with a friend and her 5 year old. They had free plastic bags for everyone, though I did also see lots of people with the same sturdier bag which I think was Disney related. We actually found a lost one at the hotel, can't remember the details but it was better than the plastic bag.

Totally OK to bring your own bag, and ABSOLUTELY OK for the adults to trick-o-treat too . Tons of adults were joining in, and since you're paying for a ticket too you might as well get candy out of it. When we went they were pretty generous about the candy quantity so you should end up with a lot.

We went last year and would fill the plastic bags and then dump the candy into the messenger bag we brought. We had the bag because we had heard different things about the bags from previous years. Overall the bags seemed fine but I liked the messenger bag better cause it was easier on the rides to hold.

We ended up with 11lbs of candy  Our neighbor kids and DH's co-workers helped eat it, cause we went a bit overboard :rotfl: We just had too much fun collecting all the candy and I really was looking for more carrots ;)

Oh ya, we just used the plastic ones and we had more than enough candy! We each got one when we went in and we all got candy with no problems. The CMs were giving out huge handfulls, it was insane how much we got. We ended up using some of it for our own house for handing out! lol Seriously.....wayyyyy too much!!! :)

Another great question.
Thanks for asking it for me.:goodvibes

Couldn't agree more !

We don't celebrate Halloween here in Aus. (well, most of the population doesn't, so my kids were in lolly / sweet / candy heaven. This is a photo taken 2 days after the party, in LV (so about half had already been eaten) - we actually had to take the bags out of our suitcases, and put them in our hand luggage to get on the flight to LV, as it weighed too much

We planned to dress up when we went 2 years ago, unfortunately we ran out of time and I didn't get to finish our costumes. :( This year we will dress up, I might just do the same thing we planned before but I'm not sure yet.

We totally dressed up!!!! But I won't lie a big reason I wanted to go was to be allowed to dress up in one of the parks, since doing the princess thing was not the thing when I was a kid and I was jealous of the little girls who get to do it now :rotfl: Though I went as a bad girl instead of a princess ;)

Just a quick question coming from a candy addict.....where is the best candy? I'm not talking smarties and suckers and other stuff that gets thrown away...I'm talking delicious candy bars filled with enough calories to put me into a sugar coma.....
