Trick or Treat at the Fort...

This is our FIRST time at the fort and FIRST time for Halloween.

Wat time does trick-or-treating usually start at the fort?

Just trying to get some sort of idea where will be during the day and what time we should head back??

Rumor has it: Lots and lots of kids..and bring lots and lots of candy, about 30 lbs worth. (Our first Halloween there as well)

Hmm, that is good I suppose. Presume it is wrapped up earlier rather than later....can maybe catch a show afterwards....like Fantasmic or something??

Shoot, 30 lbs didn't even put a dent in it last year, I think we gave out 50 - 60 lbs of candy. Also a lot depends on what loop. We were in 400 loop and saw LOTS of visitors.

My first trip to the Fort was Halloween 2000 and yes, expect alot of trick or treaters. We give out handfuls of candy, so we go through alot. The little ones start coming around early before dark. The decorations at the sites are the BEST!

The activities around the Fort are endless on Halloween, so don't miss a minute!

Jen, my sister & I put our candy together, 150 pounds, and ran out. I'm taking out a bank loan this year to buy it. lol

AuburnJen92 & myself bought about 50lbs of candy at Sam's last year, in addition to candy we brought with us. I think it lasted MAYBE 30 minutes!! We were next to CLKelley.

I have NEVER seen a continuous mob of people as last year's TorT. Of course - the fact the parking lot is now closed to outsiders might have a tiny effect on the amount of TorTer's. The fact that it's on a school night might deter a lot of people, as well.
