I've bern reading that they are going to test how bus service is done for BB, and after 11 or noon busses will go directly to AK, without stopping at BB. To get to or from BB you will have to take a bus to AK, then transfer to another bus for BB :(.
How us this improving bus service  for people trying to get to or from BB? And they are doing it during the times of year that water parks are popular?
This makes a potential 40 min just waiting for transportation if you have a 20 min wait at resort for AK bus, then another 20 min wait at AK for BB bus.
And I always have beach bag for water parks for the extra stuff you have to lug.

I think that stinks, I never minded the 5 extra minutes for BB drop off if I wasn't going to the water park.

I can sorta see it in winter when water park attendance is low, but in peek season :sad2:

But probably not a lot of people (or they want to see if enough people) are going to Blizzard Beach by bus into the afternoon. Since it's a test, maybe they'll find such a change makes sense, maybe they'll find it doesn't. It's also possible the AK/BB bus would run more frequently than every twenty minutes. And guests who justmiss a bus have the option of a short, and therefore inexpensive, taxi ride.

I would rather stop at more places then get off in my swim attire and stand and wait for another bus. If transportation gets worse and I feel it would be necessary to rent a car, then it will be easier for me to spend money off property as well and even stay off site. The convenience-dollars quotient would get smaller if this "test" becomes permanent. Imho

The vast majority of buses going into BB in the early afternoon neither drop off nor pick up any Guests there. Believe me, there are plenty of moans and groans from Guests when a packed bus pulls into BB for no apparent reaon. I often hear little kids saying, "Mommy, why are we stopping here when nobody wants to go here?" And the wasted fuel and resources must be tremendous.

I'm not defending the proposed solution; I personally think there may be better ones. But clearly the current procedure is inefficient and inconveniences many more Guests than it benefits.

This soluton is what the Transportation management team has decided to try, for whatever reasons. It is being called a test, so it's quite possible it may be modified or scrapped after a trial period.

From early afternoon on in summer months there seems to be a fair amount of propel leaving BB. At least it seems so to me. Guess I may be spending more time at TL if this is a permanent change.

The changes to BB bus service have been postponed until further notice. I just saw this on the internal web page, so I don't have any info on the reasons.

So for now, everything stays the same.

I assume the change from Epcot to BB will remain in effect, since that was started a couple of weeks ago.
