TRex/Rainforest in DTD-Disney Gift Cards?

Did search here but confused reading differing posts...need to know for DSs solo trip tomorrow as to how many GCs to buy today.

Does TRex or Rainforest in DTD accept either Disney Gift Cards or can he charge meal to his room folio - CSR? (he's not on the dining plan, just a regular charge)

I've been hoping someone could answer you. I believe that the phone number for the restaurant would be on the Landrys site...I would probably call at this point. We used a Landrys giftcard for T-Rex (and have used Landrys cards at the RFC at Disneyland), so I don't know.

thanx didn't know it was a landry's property. i finally did call TRex, who confirmed he could use either disney gift cards or charge to room, but no DP.

been able to charge to my room in the past at both locations. The last time at RFC, about three years ago, they actually ran the credit card after the tip was entered. At T-Rex the manager had to be involved. In both cases it took a little extra time but not more than a couple of minutes.
