TRex or Rainforest Cafe?

We like the ice cave! Just be aware, yes, it's loud.

And blue everything for an hour. Your food looks so weird. I think that other areas are more fun personally. There’s a more quiet area behind the ice cave that liked nice and you could see into the ice cave. And to be honest most seats outside the cave can see into the cave.

Does anyone have tips to reserve outside Disney? I'm trying to book t-Rex for August and can't find a table! I also tried their website and don't see where to book a reservation.

If you don’t get a reservation, don’t worry they do take walk in, I have eaten many times always without reservations the most we have waited for a table was 45 min for a party of 6

We ate in the the ice cave on Sunday and it was producing some interesting colors that for sure. Loved it and the food was great.

I'd pick Trex over Rainforest. I like the food a bit better at Trex. And i do like the theme way better at Trex as well. Its a lot of fun. My son and i still like that place...and he's 18! Lol. Its true that you should call the restaurant directly for reservations. its hard to get on the disney website.

You should try it out, its fun being in the cave. I love it!

They are very similar so I would lean towards whichever one's menu better appeals to you. FWIW, my nephew prefers T-Rex (because dinosaurs) while my niece prefers Rainforest. Not sure if other boys and girls are like that too!

I'll also add that you can find Rainforest Cafes in several major cities (we have one here in Niagara Falls), so even if you don't have one at home, you may find one somewhere else in your travels at some point. To my knowledge, the T-Rex at Disney Springs is the one and only location.

This trip my family is finally doing T-Rex after about 30 trips to rainforest cafe at various locations. With rainforest cafe being in more locations globally, I think T-Rex would provide a more unique experience where the rainforest cafe could happen in several other major cities.

We really like both. Even though we are "senior" Disney lovers we enjoy the fun atmosphere. I would consult the children and see if their preference is dinos or jungle animals. Personally we probably like Rainforest better however the chicken sandwich and waffle fries at T-Rex are just delicious.

T-rex!!! My girls love that restaurant and it's now a must-do every trip.
