TRex - going back and forth

TRex is SO loud! Honestly, especially if you are going to be in a park all day and already have done a character meal, I would pick something more low-key.

This. We went after a full park day and I ended up having to take my daughter out of the place, and she was a teen at the time! I would go on a Sunday morning at 11am, or maybe lunch any day early. I would not do an after park dinner EVER again!

Last time I went my oldest was 2 and my niece 5. Both dino lovers and they were thrilled. Will probably head back there with my now 4 and 2 year old (whose first word was "roar") as much as Id love to try other restaurants in DS I gotta please my little dinosaur lovers!

There is a cool little Dino dig area at the entrance which is fun to play in while you wait for a table.

It is loud but you can't beat the theming. We are from England and try and go there every time we visit WDW. It is great value too on the dining plan. We prefer to go there for a lunch when we have a rest or shopping day as it can all seem a bit much after a long day at the parks.

My son really enjoys T-Rex. You're right that the food is nothing extraordinary, but it is good. It's also a good option for OOP because there are a lot of appetizers that can easily be enough for a meal.

yes, if I do eventually keep it...I think I will pay OOP for this one.

I vote for something else. I think it's pretty loud. My daughter, then 9, was covering her ears. My daughter had a kids pizza that looked like it came from a grocery store and microwaved. My husband had the ribs, he loves ribs, and really never has a bad thing to say about them until we got here. I had some pasta dish which was just awful. This was in 2014 during Spring Break. It was the hardest ADR to get and the one I regret the most.

My daughter, who is sensitive to noise, loved it at 3 (she loves dinosaurs). My DH and I thought the food and drinks were tasty. It is soo cool! You have to do it once!
