TREX and RFC at DTD

My question is can I, should I, how do I....book a table at T-Rex and Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney?

I just ate there yesterday and it was realy cool! I called the place directly and made a ressie. I don't know the # off the top of my head but I just googled it. I had a ressie at 12:30. We checking in at 12 and were seated around 12:20. There were a ton of people in line so I would suggest calling ahead to get in faster!

the number for t rex is 407-828-8739. thats a direct line, i just used it a few days ago to change my time for 7/5. however, i believe i read here that trex is avaliable through the disney dine line now. the rfc at dtd can be made through disney dining 407-939-3463. enjoy!

Actually WDW-Dining Cast Members can not make ADR's for their location at Downtown Disney. If someone wants to make a reservation they need to call that Rainforest Cafe directly at 407-827-8500.

WDW-Dining Cast Members are only able to make ADR's for the Rainforest Cafe which is located at the Animal Kingdom.

I just called a few mins ago to make reservations for end of August. I was actually very shocked to find that i got a 5:00 ressie at RFC (I guess with it being so hard to get accommodated on the free dining plan it took me by surprise) I know this isnt on the dining plan

The Rainforest Cafe is not a restaurant which is on the Disney Dining Plan which must be why it was easy to get a reservation. For example last August my family and I made an ADR at Fulton's Crab House which is another restaurant not on the Disney Dining Plan and we had no problems getting the time and date we wanted to go there at.
