Trevor's Star Wars Make A Wish trip

I was totally following your PTR for a while and then got pretty busy and havent really been keeping up on my Dis threads (besides the SWW one lol)...

He is going to have an awesome time...I was reading on the SWW thread that a wish kid was involved in one of the shows so hopefully Trev will get to do that...We are arriving at Disney Fri. June 7th and not planning on going to the park but part of me wants to change that just for a chance to see Trev enjoying his wish trip...

Wow, the reveal party looked absolutely amazing. I love all the pictures of the 501st Legion (no idea what that actually is, but I'll pretend I do ) inside your house, they will make for great memories. Hope the ear infection clears up soon. You all will have a blast in Disney!

I heard back. She said it is not mandatory for him. So we will be at SWW when you are!

I really hope it works out and you guys get to meet up! I bet the boys would have a lot of fun together talking about Star Wars!

That would be cool if he were involved in one of the shows! We have not received info for our Star Wars day yet. If you do go that day let me know and I will message you where we will be at!

I can't believe we are in single digits! Next Saturday we will be on our way to Disney!

Trev and his friends are STILL talking about it! My ears are the same but I am on sudafed and bought Afrin for the plane ride. Hopefully both of those will do the trick!

Today when Trev got home from school I told him that a package arrived for him... The kids were SUPER excited, especially since they thought they would not be getting anymore mickey mail. This one comes from Newcomer. Thank you SO much. Trev LOVES his Star Wars trading cards! They were all signed too and came from all over the world!!

My sweet babes graduated preschool last night. They had a circus graduation and I have to say, my girls were the cutest dancing horses ever! Trev had his last soccer game of the season and he did an AMAZING job! He has improved SO much this last year.

The kids are getting super excited about Disney World and we leave next weekend! I can't believe how close it is now! I need to make a list of things to pack and start packing bags. Hoping the weather will be nice. I looked at the extended forecast a couple days ago and it said mid 90's and lots of sun. I looked today and it says it is suppose to rain all week... Hopefully by the time we get there it will be sunny!

weather this time of year in FL changes a lot, just be prepared for rain and you will be good to go! hope the packing goes well, making a list is the best idea, check it off when it goes into the bags!

The kids LOVE to wear their new clothes all the time! I told them Monday is the LAST day they can wear them before the trip! I need time to get them washed and packed! I can't believe in exactly one week today we will be at the airport getting ready to board the plane to Orlando! I sure hope we are able to get some sleep on the plane

We have rain ponchos packed... We are use to rain so I am sure we can handle it rainy AND warm instead of rainy and cold

I have the kids' backpacks packed with activities for the plane. Trev's DS and the ipad for the girls so they can watch Little Mermaid to pass some of the time. Later this week I will buy some snacks to put in their back packs. Lists have been made so later in the week we can start packing! This week will be another busy week with BBQ's this weekend, outdoor school for Trev and his family lunch at school as well as my last day working in his class. Saturday will be here before we know it!! I sure hope we don't forget anything... If we do Walmart is close to where we are staying and we can stop in there and pick it up!

sounds like you got a good start already! FL rain is different than WA rain for sure...you will be more sticky with the humidity

Thanks guys!! My sweet babes got into the suitcase I packed because they "wanted to see their Mickey Mail because they have never seen it in a long time" So I have decided NOT to pack anything else until Friday and then I will put the suitcases in the garage where they can not get into them!

Tomorrow is outdoor school for Trev and of course it is suppose to rain! It rained last year. At least this year I am prepared and I will bring the extra change of clothes with me! Trev decided to play in the puddles last year and was SOAKED! Of course I left the change of clothes at school...

I can't believe we only have a few days left until we leave!! The kids are watching You Tube videos about Disney World non stop! They are excited they get to spend a whole week having a sleepover in the same room too! I'm thinking since GKTW is about a 20 minuted drive from the parks I will pack the kids' jammies in the car and have them change in the car before we head back. That way if they fall asleep on the way "home" we can carry them and put them right to bed! I have been looking at the weather the last few days... Right now it looks to be sunny and HOT when we arrive! So excited to be soaking up some sun instead of rain

Not sure that I will be posting while I am there. But I will sometime after we get back. Trev has 4 days of school left when we get back so it will probably be after that. I can't believe it is almost time to do a TR!!

I've been in the fun cycle of packing, unpacking, washing and back to packing for each weekend.

Be sure to bring something to trade to the jawas! They'll accept almost anything. JJ traded doubles of his Star Wars cards and doubles of Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom cards. In return he got a bandaid, a toy, and 2 fast passes for ST.

Sea World's Antarctica Empire of the Penguin opened on 5/24!

Trev just did a report on penguins so we will have to go check it out at Sea World. I am sure the kids will enjoy it!


Excitement is the word of the week... The kids are SO excited (and so are we ) They are talking non stop about Disney, SWW, their first plane ride... We watch You Tube videos every night about Disney and the rides.

Looking at the weather forecast it looks like their may be lots of rain next weekend. I'm thinking it is maybe because of the Hurricane that is just developing... I really hope it dissipates or takes a different path! Hopefully by the time it is time for Trev's SWW day it is sunny and nice. I don't mind that it will most likely rain each afternoon, it is the all day down pour I do not want to be in!

We are still waiting on Trev's Star Wars Day agenda. Talking with the wish grantor today it sounds like we will not get anything until next week. The Florida chapter said we will get it by next Thursday.

I think the first day we will plan to hang around GKTW and maybe go to Downtown Disney so Trev can go to the Lego store. I'm thinking Monday for Sea World and Tuesday and Wednesday we will do Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. Thursday Universal and Friday HS for SWW. Saturday we may go to Legoland or just hang out at GKTW. Plans are not firm so they could change at any moment except for the SWW. Saturday will be here before we know it and we will be off to Disney World!! It has taken so long to get here, yet if feels like it is coming up fast!
