Tremors the series

I just saw a commercial for this.. I can't believe they are making this. As a parent who has sat thru tremors 1,2, and I believe 3 all I can say is

It's just too bad they can't get Kevin Bacon on the series, running around in those tight jeans! LOL!

What channel is this series on? I haven't heard anything about it.

Jigga-waa? I can't wait! I love Tremors! We have the first two on VHS and the newest on DVD. The later ones are a bit hokey, but I love them! We all do!

Nancy, I believe it's on Sci-Fi channel. Must be, my DH usually has that channel on 24-7.

I really enjoyed the first movie, but the other two were garbage IMHO (I think the cast in the first one had a better chemistry). I don't even want to think what a series might be like, but I'm sure I'll watch the first episode out of curiosity.
