Planning a quick last minute3 night trip to do MNSSHP. I can get a treehouse villa for my dates.
My question is: will we feel real isolated and not like we are at WDW?
I still want our short trip to feel magical!
While we were in our THV yes we felt isolated. By isolated I mean calm and peaceful. The main building and pool for SSR is a short walk if you need your magical fix. My only complaint about the THV is transportation. Ask for a TH near the path to the Grandstand area. Having your own car is almost a must.

The tree house villas are very isolated. If you are taking Disney transportation to get to the parks then you would first take the shuttle to the SSR bus stop then take the park bus. They look like a nice option if you have a big group and want to spend some time together.
If anyone has stayed at both the treehouse villas and the fort wilderness cabins, would you say that the treehouse villas feel more isolated than the fort cabins?
We didn't find the fort cabins too isolating and didn't mind the transportation (internal bus, plus park bus) so I was wondering if treehouse villas have the same feel.
Thanks!

They are isolated, dark at night and located in a far corner of SSR (no bus service down the road on which your villa is located). They're relaxing because you don't feel like you're staying at a theme park. I would not say that they feel "magical".

But that is at the end of the THV road, where it intersects with the regular SSR roadway. Buses do not enter the THV area itself, so you're stuck walking down a rather dimly-lit roadway at night if you have been at the parks late (which I assume the OP will be doing since they are going for MNSSHP).
