Treehouse Villa's

I've seen the concept art for Bay Lake Tower. Has anyone seen any thing out there at all for the Treehouse Villa's yet??

There are a couple pieces of concept artwork (one interior and one exterior) along with a few details from the Fact Sheet released by Disney. Aside from that they haven't been nearly as forthcoming with details on the Treehouses as they have with BLT.

I think it's understandable since BLT is the focus. They needed to be prepared to start selling BLT just 5 days after the announcement. The treehouse points won't be available for a while yet, so they have time to pull all of that info together.

In the meantime, I gathered as much information as I could and published it HERE. Hope that helps answer a few questions.

I've been told that's what they plan to do. Until it's in writing I guess we have to call that a rumor to be fair, and hope that DVC doesn't change their minds.

They could never go up to the full Grand Villa price level since the Treehouses really don't compare. Aside from having a little more privacy via the 3rd bedroom, they really are about the same as a Two Bedroom villa. The treehouses sleep 8-9, have two bathrooms and has a dining table that doesn't accommodate all occupants of the resort. Those are all features of a Two Bedroom. Grand Villas are at least 33% larger, have a full dining room, sleep 12-13, and possess many other amenities that I'm forgetting right now.

DVC could probably go with something a little higher than a Two Bedroom for the treehouses, but at present I've been told they have no plans to do so. If you want to break it down into pros and cons, the Treehouses are a little larger than a 2B and have the extra physical bedroom. On the other hand, the master suite has only a Queen bed (instead of a King) and the treehouses are more isolated with fewer nearby amenities. Figure those issues all cancel each other out and it seems reasonable to keep them the same as a 2B.
