Treehouse 'Incident' - Woops!

Apparently while installing one of the 'pre-fab' treehouses recently on the stilts, there was an 'incident' where the house fell off the supports and loose of the crane and crashed to the ground...

Nobody was hurt (seriously enough to report) ... but the Treehouse in question was completely destroyed. They're at work on 'pre-fabbing' a replacement.

"Thank you sir.. may I have another.. "

"A dog eated my treehouse.. "

Expensive error!

I assume you're talking about the Treehouse Villas at AKL. Yikes. Glad no one was hurt. Makes me kinda think twice about wanting to stay in one though. LOL.

The Treehouse Villas are at Saratoga Springs, not Animal Kingdom Lodge.

No reason to fear them.. once secured to the moorings.. they're as safe as any other structure..

This one was in the process of being secured.. but broke loose before that could be completed.

I wish someone had some pictures of this incident but I'm sure Disney is trying to keep this as quiet as possible. They certainly don't need bad press of any kind with the economy like it is.

Wow, I stayed in one of those as a teen back in the '70s. I will take my chances and stay there again
