Sunday April 10th
Today was a very hot day and the plan was to go to Epcot tonight to have some more drinks round the word and watch illuminations Reflections of Earth. Lisa and her family went to Typhoon Lagoon as we did not have this park on our Annual Passes we took the boat to Downtown Disney to get some presents for some up and coming birthdays.
We met up again at the Treehouse and decided to have lunch at Denny's just outside Downtown Disney past Crossroads. The food was very nice and we left stuffed as usual for this holiday.
We spent a couple of hours chilling on the terrace and had a few drinks before leaving the Treehouse and walk to the Saratoga Springs bus stop and caught the bus to Epcot. First thing we did was to get fast passes for Test Track and then we went to Mission Space. My rule for Mission Space is one ride per trip and as this had already been accoplished I sat this one out with Lisa. The others all went on the Orange intense ride. As it was a walk-on they all wanted to go on again apart from Maurice who looked a bit green. By the time they came out it was time to go on Test Track
I have never been on this ride in the evening and was very enjoyable. We had to take the mandatory photo afterwards
The one ride we had not been on this trip so far is the boat ride in Norway so off we went to World Showcase. It was another walk on and I got my fix for one of my fav experiences here. When we came out we had to have the traditional troll photo
We made our way to Italy to get some belinis. I had to get the Tangled photo
We bought some funnel cakes and waited for the fireworks
The show did not disappoint and was as good as ever
The show ended at 9ish and we all felt it was too early to go back to the Treehouse and as it was evening extra magic hours at Magic Kingdom we thought we would see if we could make it over to Magic Kingdom in time for the 10pm Wishes fireworks show. We walked to the Beach Club Villas bus stop to get the bus to Magic Kingdom and as luck would have it the first bus to appear almost straight away was the Magic Kingdom one.
We get off the bus and run into the park and it was heaving. We just managed to get a great spot in time for the show to start and I was just sooooooooooooo excited as for the very first time I actually managed to see Tinkerbell and the show was just fantastic. We all could not believe how lucky we were to see both firework shows in one night.

We were all buzzing as we all had never been to the late extra magic hours and as we were making our way in most people were leaving. We got fast passes for Space Mountain and then made our way to fantasy land.

Next is snow white and Kirsty takes this great shot of the adults absolutely enjoying this ride
We all rush over to the Carousel and have great fun on this in the dark
This is so much fun for us all
As all these rides have no queues we go on its a small world
It is now time for our Space Mountain fass passes and we all go on this and have a fab time.
The park is really emptying out now and everything is a walk on so decide to go on everything! Well stuff we would not normally go on because after Buzz we went on Stitch which we have not been on for a few years as the queues seem too long for the ride which in my opinion is not that good. We all get the giggles in the dark and have a great time
We make our way over to adventure land and take some great castle photos on the way over there
We go on the flying carpet ride which is even better in the dark
Pirates is the next ride and Kirsty gets a great photo of when the boat goes down the hill
We then go on one of the best rides in the dark Big Thunder Mountain railroad. We are all having the best night of our holiday and make the crazy decision to on splash mountain in the dark. It is great but crazy as there is no sun to dry us off!!!!
We make our way over to Haunted Mansion and get some more wonderful photos of our evening at magic kingdom. It is by now about 1 o'clock in the morning.
Maurice and Mark had not been on Haunted Mansion this holiday and loved the great new ending where our heads get switched.
There is no queue for Peter Pan which is a first and we also even go on Dumbo.
I am very pleased to say there are even characters out so early in the morning and we get some photos with Goofy
It is by now past 2 o'clock in the morning and we take our last castle photo of this fantastic night
We make our way to the bus stops and we are lucky to get a bus back to Saratogo Springs almost immediately. Although we are all exhausted (Lisa's family have down three parks in one day) the walk back to the Treehouse does not take long. No nightcaps tonight as we are so tired but all so extremely happy to have such an amazing night.
