Tree House Villa pics..?

Hmmm.
You're right, there are not many photos out there. I could have missed them though but so far not much posted on the Dis.
I'm looking for photos of when I stayed in the old tree house villas.
I'm might just like the old ones more, we'll see.

I posted a similar request for pictures last week. Evidently the only "preview" had a strict prohibition on photographs inside the villas, so there are not many pictures out there. Hopefully there will be more previews soon (such as the one for AKV).

I'm a little disappointed that the grills are charcoal instead of gas. Otherwise, they look great. I like the pool (it's boring so I'm hoping no one but us will use it.)

Regarding the grills....I kind of expected them to be on the decks !

I guess it must be a fire safety thing ?

Here I am complaining....the THV's each have their own grill, instead of sharing a common one and I still find something to complain about!!!

We are looking forward to our stay next March. We love to BBQ. This March we used the grills in the pavilion at the Congress Park Pool almost every night. It was wonderful. At the THV's it will be even better.

Pool does look kind of boring...but again, then it may not be a strong draw and may be fairly empty. Our favourite is the Congress park quiet pool.

Variety....variety...variety that's what we love about DVC !

I don't mind the pool as I only sit by it :rotfl: but my son may need a little more excitement!!!!! How long will it take to walk from the Treehouses over to Saratoga and the main pool?
Thanks!

I read in one post that from the center of the THV's it is about 1/2 mile walk to High Rock Springs, less to the Grandstand pool.

Just a suggestion... we may be able to cut down on the walk from a Treehouse to High Rock Springs by shuttling in the watercraft that will connect THV and SSR.

So this is a little off topic but got me thinking. I'll be staying at SSR in Oct. and was excited about girlling.. silly question being are they gas or charcoal? Do I need to buy my own? All these newbie questions..

They are charcoal grills. You can buy charcoal in the gift shop I believe.

I was thinking that this pool picture has to be wrong or its the old pool back in the Disney Institute days

Cant believe itis soooo boring!! :confused3

Over by THVs it is considered a "quiet pool" or "leisure pool", whatever phrase is currently being used to describe a relaxing, low-key pool/area vs main-feature pool/area.

It does look similar to photos I've seen of pool in this area back when it was DI but I believe this may be a current photo.

:goodvibes
