I just cashed in some coins to "Purchase a ticket so that you are eligible to participate in the next forum treasurehunt worth real cash". Now, what do I do? I guess I don't understand this site completely. I have been doing some cash offers and some are crediting but not all. I want to "buy" 2 referrals, but don't have enough pearls yet.

Hi! I haven't done the treasure hunt yet but I think wilsonfamily is/has done one. i think they are about once a month and they have a board on their message board associated with just the treasure hunt. Make sure you have all the pieces of the map before you do the hunt. I think it takes about 40 tokens to get all 4 pieces.

The crediting issues - on their message board they have a thread titled what's credited for you today. I check that list and do those offers. I usually only do 5-7 a day because any more than that and you have issues getting them to credit for some odd reason. I will say about 50-60% of the offers I do credit. Its mainly because they use the same advertisers for their offers and some track by email or ip address. I usually do the gmail thingy of changing my email address each time I do an offer to help me get credit. It usually works. Try that idea. Also reset your internet connection at least once a week so you can get a new ip addy.

The pearl thingy goes in spurts where I'll either get a bunch or I won't get any for a while. The referrals are hit or miss as well but since they are "free" I cash in my pearls for them.

So the ticket I purchased can only be used after I get all 4 treasure hunt maps? I guess I shouldn't have purchased it yet, but I had enough to get it and thought I could use it.

I did a bunch of offers this weekend, but only a few have credited. Should I try those offers again?

How do you get a gmail addr? Is that the one you can change where the "." goes?

Thanks for your help. I am a SAHM who homeschools her kids and am just looking for the quickest/easiest ways to make money. I can't and don't have time to follow up on all the offers you sign up for an cancel so I know I won't become a millionaire!

oh no problem. the gmail account you just go to gmail.com (or google and sign up there since its google mail) and that is the account where you can change the periods in the email to get a "unique" email.

I'd give the offers about a month before doing them again. Sometimes I'll have things randomly show up after 30 days and credit. Just do new offers for now.

What kind of internet connection do you have? DSL? Cable? dial up? If you have dsl or cable just unplug your modem from the wall or take the cable out of the modem box and it will "shut down" your connection. Leave it out for about 30 seconds before replugging in and you will basically reset your internet connection so that you will get a new ip address.

Also have you been clearing your cookies between offers? If not start clearing after you complete your offers before doing others. Go to tools -> internet options -> delete cookies, and then do delete files. Check the box that asks if you want to clear offline content as well.

Hope this gets you going some more.

when I get the gmail addr, I still use my regular email to sign in, but when filing in addresses I use the gmail, is that right? How do they track my offers?

I guess they have small hunts every month and you have to log on to the forum at a certain time to play and have a ticket for it. I bought a ticket thinking it had something to do with the treasure hunt you use the map for. It does not.

I am only on act 2 of the treasure hunt. So I have a very long way to go. I have read the threads at that forum so I know people do win. I am just slow and figure I will just go at my speed as there is no deadline. It is confusing to me on what I need to complete act 2, so I keep checking every time I do something like an offer, pearl, referral etc.

That I am not sure on, as I really didn't want to do that hunt I was confused when I bought the ticket. I did see it in one of the threads over there at TT. They state a day and a time.

Good Luck. It is confusing at first but I have found the more I play over there and read threads I am less confused and really like TT. It has taken some time though.

Sorry I logged off for a while. I'm glad you found the thread I was talking about. I'm really interested in these treasure hunts. Let me know if you try one. I have been following the posts on the $100 hunt over here to learn more about it as I am not active on the TT forum at all!

If I am right, the ticket I have allows me to enter a treasure hunt for 1 of 5 $20 prizes. Last time it was being the first to take specific pictures. That's not for me. I may have wastee some of my coins on this ticket. I guess that is what happens when you purchase before researching enough.

Yup. There is an id number that represents you in the links that you click on to do offers so that is how TT tracks you and how you get credit when using different emails.

Just an fyi.

I've done the target and california wine offers that are $1.00 each and both credited very fast today.

I am not sure on that BUT I have read over at TT forum that the zip code offers are harder to get to credit then the email ones. I think it must be true because if I look at the offers I have left there are A LOT of zip code ones left.

I always go to the end until I get the thank you page. Most of those you have to do at least a couple of pages I have had better luck getting them to credit though going all the way to the end.
