Treasure Hunt?

We are heading to Disney next month. We have friends that will be there the week after us. Our 3rd grade teacher thought it would be a pretty cool idea if we left a treasure for our friends to find. Kind of like a scavenger hunt. Has anyone done something like this before?

I am looking for location ideas. The treasure would be something of little value (in case someone else finds it). I know that they will be spending most of the time at MK.

I'm having a hard time thinking up with anywhere in the parks (that are accessible to guests) where you could leave anything "hidden" that wouldn't go into the trash the second it was seen by a Disney custodial CM. They're pretty good at keeping the parks free of stuff that doesn't belong. And for goodness sake, if you try this, don't leave something that could be deemed "suspicious looking".

Instead of leaving an object, maybe take a mystery photo, like a very close up of something cool and obscure (like the old "Where in the World" thread) then challenge them to find it and take an identical photo. That way there is nothing to leave, and you can provide some clues to guide them.
