Hello All--

I've been working so furiously on the details of my proposal plan this weekend, that I simply haven't had a chance to complete the final collateral piece I'm needing.

I'll be taking us on a treasure hunt through Magic Kingdom. For each of the lands, I have 10 clues. I have some design experience, and CS5 at my disposal, and early on in the project, I experimented with 8.5"x11" designs, but with 70 questions, it got a little unruly, and just didn't look very clean.

So I've been brainstorming some other ideas. I thought about doing a tri-fold, but with only 5 panes available for content, there didn't seem to be an easy way to distribute/separate content for 7 lands.

So now I'm thinking about a small, maybe passport-size or slightly larger booklet. This would allow me to have a front and back cover, and several pages of content inside. Each land would get it's own page, with the last page of the inside pages blank.

Does anyone have time to whip up some ideas in this format for me? I can take the file in any Adobe product, and I have CS3-CS4-CS5. I can worry about the content layout, if someone could come up with the design for the book.

The theme is "treasure hunt", but it's a photo treasure hunt, so if you include any characters, you may want to have them holding a camera while hunting?
In my head, I see the inside pages using some type of treasure map in the background. I don't want the background to be TOO distracting, as it will have a lot of content on the page (10 questions, plus the name of the land at the top).

For the cover, maybe a leatherized book cover look? I dunno, these are just ideas. I'm sorry about the late notice--as I said, was planning to do it myself, and I'm just running out of time. Since it's a central piece of the plan, I dont want to drop the ball on it.

Oh, and one IMPORTANT NOTE: She will be under the impression that this is something Disney is testing, so it needs to look like something Disney would produce. I'm planning to put "DRAFT" on it somewhere to help pad her curiosity a bit, but it should look like a Disney work-in-progress.

Anything you guys can do to help would be GREATLY appreciated for my special day. Thanks in advance.

If you can give me a size I'll see what I can come up with.

THANK YOU!

I'm flexible on the size, I just want to make sure I can print the spreads on my home printer if necessary. The booklets I'm looking at that we've done here in the office are 4"x6" (WxH), but as I said, I'm flexible.

Another thing I was thinking... if you don't want to actually layout a booklet in like InDesign, you could just give me photoshop files for the covers, and the inside page, which I could then duplicate and create the layout from.

Whatever works best for you, I'm just so thankful for the help.

Here's what I'm thinking for the 2 page spreads . Still working on the cover. Was thinking of "Disney's Pirate Pursuit" for the title.

Let me know if this works and I'll whip up the other lands.

DOM, this looks GREAT! :worship:

Very clever, and clean. Regarding the cover, I'm not set on the title yet, so is that something you can leave editable in the final file? I've gotta do some more thinking on it.

If you want to PM me with your e-mail I'll send the PSD files to you.
