79 dollars sounds like a great deal for this hotel- however I read some not so great reviews on it and I hear it doesnt have an elevator. Deluxe tower rooms are available on Mousesavers for 127 per night guaranteed king tower room. Just some extra info...

Not true. Hotel Royal Plaza has THREE elevators in the main lobby!

FYI, I just checked and for the time period mentioned, the price you're quoting is completely inaccurate -- the MouseSavers rate for a Deluxe Tower room during that time period is essentially the SAME as the TravelZoo offer, plus it's refundable, which the TravelZoo rate is not.

I don't want to be accused of self-promoting, so I won't get into specific details here. But I feel compelled to correct this completely false information about the rates on my site.

Where did the "no elevator" come from? It's like a 15 story hotel. I am pretty sure they have elevators.

Also, the TravelZoo $79 rate does get you a Tower Room. As Mary points out if the prices are the same her deal may be better, but Mary this is the verbage that was on my confirmation for this hotel for my August stay

Not sure what that means. However, for the date I was booking for the Tower Room with TravelZoo was $79 and with MouseSavers it was $97. (Sorry, but I went with TravelZoo) If the MouseSavers rate is refundable and my plans had been "variable" then I might have gone with Mousesavers. (I didn't get that far with the booking since my plans are firm and refundable wasn't an issue) Mary's site does have some great rates for this hotel outside of the limited TravelZoo special dates too!

I have stayed here before the re-do and really liked my tower room. Before they remodeled I heard fairly poor reviews on the garden rooms. SInce then all I have seen are Tower room reviews and they seem favorable.
