Hi all, still hunting for flights for 25 aug - 8 sep next year and have found on skyscanner KLM flights Manchester - Atlanta - Orlando return for £442 pp. There are two booking links one to Travelup which I've nevere heard of, and this gives the total for 4 as £1765. The other link is to KLM site but they show the same flights as £2200 !

Is there a catch to Travelup? The price seems too good to be true. Any views on KLM also?

Ta.

I think you will find its not available at that price if you click thru to buy. I had a quick look and its saying £ 489.99 but won't let me book at that price, it says they can't be booked, go back and select another flight.

I don't like Skyscanner as it does that a lot. It caches recent lower prices rather than doing live searches.

I find Kayak a better search engine usually.

Cheapest I can see for your dates just now are with Travelocity.com $1,451.18 for 2 adults = £453pp at $1.60/£1 using a fee free credit card. They are over £500 on their co.uk site.

Thank you so much for that Wayne, I'm hovering on the booking button as I'm doubtful I'd get them much cheaper from the prices I've seen mentioned on the boards. I had budgeted around £2000 so if they come in just above £1800 then I'd be happy with that. Plus it would be peace of mind that I had them booked.

I've booked OKW with free DDP through wdtc so could I call them to add these flights on to my booking or would they have to quote whatever the price is through Delta direct?

About to have a long discussion with DH before deciding!

Never booked my flights with WDTC, always book them myself elsewhere so no idea how they work.

I took the plunge and booked through travelocity.com and got 4 adult flights with Delta, 25 aug 2013 and returning 8 Sept with one change in Atlanta, for $2902.36 - i'll have to see what that works out at when it appears on the credit card statement but it should be around £1800. It wouldn't let me pay with my Visa Debit card for some reason so had to use my mastercard.

:cool1:

Great news. If its a fee free mastercard(Post Office) then it will work out around £1,806. If you have a card with high fees (2.95%) then it will be around £1,861.
One year I booked, flights, cruise, hotels all in $'s plus spending money, totalled over $20,000, Post Office card saved me around £400.

The flights are now on our online cc statement and show 4 x 456.25 for flights plus 28.07 Travelocity payment. A total of £1,853.07. There are no other cc fees showing but I'll have to wait until end of statement month to see it any get added on.

I'm more than happy with under £500 pp price, thanks again Wayne for pointing me in the right direction !

:)
