This is a really cool show on your local PBS channel. We recently discovered that we have a new PBS channel called "Create" here in Massachusetts and it aired this show ALL day yesterday. It features an extremely accomplished photographer named Art Wolfe who travels the world and shows how he photographs everything from people, animals, landscapes, etc.. I wish he got more involved with telling about the photography, but nonetheless it is a great show IMHO. When I saw the big white 400mm lens (the one Mark wants to buy) I knew it had to be a good show!

Here is the website with airing times for each state:

His main gallery is about a mile from my work. I looked him up online to maybe attend one of his classes, but I don't have $900 to drop for training.

I watch Create here in NH. I like Rick Steves, Burt Wolf and Rudy Maxa. They all have travel shows at 8 & 8:30 and at 2 & 2:30 everyday a.m. and p.m.

I think that would be a great experience for you! Perhaps with the govt money that may/may not be coming our way this year? :confused3

I haven't seen those shows yet, but I like the channel. Glad my DSis told me about it!
