As we are having to book 2 rooms for a family of 3 adults and 4 children we have looked at the prices for Travelodge, has anybody stayed here before and if so whats it like.

I don`t really mind if it is a little dated as it`s only for the night then WDW here we come .................woo hoo

We stayed at Premier Travel Inn, Gatwick Airport Central this year. It was about the cheapest for family of 4. Situated at North terminal, but bus service was excellent, runs every 20 mins-on time, only pay for adults (£2.00 each I think) and only 5min journey. Breakfast was good value too (well for airport hotel) as kids upto age 16 eat free with an adult. Rooms were OK, basic (one of the kids beds was on a mattress on the floor) but clean and adequate. We didn't mind paying £85.00 (aprox) including breakfast as we find it gives such a better start to your holiday using twilight check-in and for us avoiding stress of M25 etc.

We stayed here in 2003. We literally just slept here. We had the parking deal, so we drove the 10 mins to Gatwick and had our breakfast after checking in. The room was fine for 2 adults and 2 children. There was tea & coffee making facilities and a TV. The rooms are basic but clean. I would stay here again

We got 2 family rooms for £39 per night.
This holiday has cost my partner a fortune so we had to find as cheap as possible for the over night stay.

I think it is the luck of the draw, some rooms are OK, others are bad. We had a bad one, sent pictures on return and they gave us a full refund. others have had a very good experience. If you want copies of the pictures just send me a message.

I think i`ll skip that offer lol
My partner will kick up a fuss if the room are unsuitible as we have 2 young children.

We stayed here in July, £26 for the night, room was fine we got there around 8pm so had something to eat there as well, food was ok and prices reasonable.
One complaint , you will need to be up early to get a hot shower, i had one at 7am and it was freezing.
would probably stay here if i needed to, but would not pay more than £26

We stayed here last november and found it to be alright we paid £26.
Also had the evening meal prices were ok and the food was good.

We stayed there last year and it was fine. We are staying there this year for £15! so cannot complain. We paid £5 for parking overnight and then moved our car the next day to the car park.
