Had anyone booked a disney resort through Travelocity or another third party site? How does that work with mde and the magic bands?

I did a year ago, most of the particulars escape me now. But I know we were able to link everything. We got magic bands, and were able to make dining resi's, and FP+ picks like everyone else.

I booked through Orbitz since they are offering an additional 20% off on top of the Disney discount and had no problem linking on MDE but I have AP and don't know if that makes a difference.

Orbitz changes it codes often, they typically have a 15% off coupon most of the time, the 20% codes are available you just have to keep checking. The codes are usually given on the website. I booked last year via Orbitz vs booking directly with Disney and saved about $100. Were able to link up the reservation with no problems, get our magic bands, etc. The current promo code on Orbitz is for 15% off.
