Travelocity or Expedia

I know Travelocity lets you choose your seats.

I also know Expedia shows you how many seats are left on a flight, but I haven't booked a flight with them yet, so I'm not sure.

What I DO know is that Expedia tends to have more flight time options than Travelocity. I noticed this after I booked my Disney flight with Travelocity and went over to check Expedia and saw that THEY had the flight times I really wanted!

I book almost exclusively on Expedia now, but when there was a problem with my flights on Travelocity, the customer service was great!

The pricing isn't much different from both sites, so it's really a matter of preference.

HTH!

Choosing seats depends on the airline - I know Expedia lets you choose on the major airlines, but doesn't let you choose on WestJet or any other airline where you have to pay extra for seat selection, for instance. Can't speak for Travelocity.

I use Expedia (both .com and .ca) and have great experiences. A couple of times there have been issues from the airline but Expedia always acted on my half and fixed the problems! When I book I get a confirmation number and log on to the airline site and choose my seats! I think I got to do it with Delta for Free but had to pay for Airtran. Either way it wasn't a problem!

Another Expedia user and I too have never had any problems. I could choose my seats when we flew with Continential, but not with WestJet as they charged extra for seat selection, and i was to cheap for that.
