I'm just curious if anyone here has ever booked the Travelocity Last Minute Weekend Packages for Disneyland and if so what was your experience?

I keep looking at them and their prices seem to be pretty good. They usually have a pretty good selection of hotels and you can pay extra if you want to upgrade to nicer hotels. For instance we could leave this Thursday morning, return home Sunday afternoon. Non-stop flight on Alaska Airlines from Portland, OR to SNA, Jolly Roger hotel, mid-size rental car & all associated taxes/fees for $312 (hotel, air & car)per person. During slower times I have seen it for as low as $240 per person.

Maybe there are some better package deals out there. I keep penciling it out separately and it seems to come out higher priced going that way. But maybe there are some other packages out there that you might know about that offer better deals??

Thanks for any input!:)

Oh NO! I was trying NOT to look at Disney packages since I came back in December...but I just had to look at Travelocity and now I've got the bug. I'm doomed:laughing:

I've used Travelocity and site59.com for last minutes weekends. I've had no issues with either site. I've gotten the Tropicana Inn and Howard Jonhsons on past trips. If the cost works out for you, go for it.

Oh no, something new to browse, knowing me that means a disney trip in our future, just when I decided to wait till december.....I have to go look........

It's a curse ain't it????

Yes it is, I had just decided to give up my idea of going in April and wait patiently (not) till December...now this.....Oh well, booked a few nights at Seaside over memorial day to make myself feel better.......

I used Travelocity for a last minute deal in October, and got what I expected. I chose a not-exactly-prime hotel because of the price. It was a dive, but could have been worse (Alamo Inn). Still it was worth it using Travelocity I think, as I could have chosen better, and the flight and being able to pre-book the Super Shuttle was helpful, and the price (minus park tickets) was decent.
