HI! This is my very first post on here. I just found this site a few days ago and it is wonderful!!

I was wondering if anyone has used Travelocity. They have some great deals on the site. I'm just a little leary, so I'd like some input. Any problems??

Also, the hotel I'm leaning towards is Comfort Suites Maingate. Anyone had any experience with it? I can get it on Travelocity for a good price. I'd love to be able to stay onsite, but it just isn't possible for this trip.

Thanks for any help!
Melissa

Is the comfort suites maingate east? That is where we stayed in October. We loved it, it was the best hotel I've stayed with all the combined features, cleanliness, huge free breakfast buffet, quiet, free shuttles, location! right next to Old Towne, so many dining places that you can walk to in minutes without having to cross the main highway. mini golf course right next door too.

I have also used Travelocity in the past, never had any problems whatsoever.

Thanks for responding!

It's the CS Maingate, not Maingate East. However, I'm looking at Maingate East too. Maingate is a bit cheaper.

The Comfort Suites Maingate is a very nice hotel. We stayed there 2 weeks ago. The place was very clean (especially the bathroom), and the free continental breakfast was very good. They offer free shuttle service to the parks, but it is a very short drive to WDW if you want to take your own vehicle. If you have any more questions about the hotel, please feel free to ask.

Another very nice hotel in that same area is the Hampton Inn. Their rates are usually comparable.

Be sure and check out their rates at hotelkingdom.com.
They are usually cheaper than Travelocity. Others have recommended using hotelmartUSA.com to book Comfort Suites, but we have never used that site before. We have used hotelkingdom many times, and we have never had a problem.

You may also want to check out the Orlando Hotels board for more information.

I haven't stayed there yet, but am booked for August. I was also debating between the two, but after reading all the reviews on the travelocity site, I booked with just Maingate because of the price. The amenities seem exactly the same. Both hotels seem to come with the two queens and the full sofa, plus the free breakfast and kitchen area. They both have great reviews for cleanliness. I'm not sure what travelocity was offering for price, but I checked the 5 sites listed on tripadvisor.com, and found orbitz the cheapest. I booked for $36.59 a nite.
I'd love to hear other reviews and differences between the two if there are any.
Thanks
