Just a couple of questions for you "seasoned" Dis'ers:

What is the best way (and time I need to allow) to get from POP to the following locations:

CHEF MICKEY'S?
WCC?
O'HANAS?

Thanks!!!!

From the Pop to all of those places I would catch the bus to the MK, then to O'Hana's and Chef Mickeys hop on the resort monorail and get off at the CR for Chef M's and ride around to the Poly for O'Hana's.

For WCCC catch the boat at the MK over to Wilderness Lodge.

I would allow 1 hour for transport to time to any of those places from Pop....you might not need that long, but if you have to wait for a bus at Pop to the MK it may be that long. If you want to live dangerously you can allow 45 minutes!!

The bus to MK is the best method for all three. Then you have several choices. For the Polynesian and 'Ohana you can either hop on the monorail and ride that to the Polynesian. It will be the third stop. Or you can take the small ferry boat from MK to the Polynesian. It stops at GF then Polynesian. It is located over below the monorail station, to the left of the bus stops.
For Chef Mickeys I usually just walk to the Contemporary from the buses. It's a very nice path and takes about 8 minutes to walk. You will have to follow the crowd that is heading to MK main entrance but then hang a right at the path and head over to CR. You can not just cross the street...the bus drivers will take a nutty on you!!! Or you can walk over to the monorail station and hop on for the short ride to CR. I think this is the slowest way to get there but others like it. I just think that by the time you walk to the monorail, wait in line, then ride over to CR...you could walk the path and be there with almost the same amount of walking. But it's up to each person.
For Wilderness Lodge and WCC you can either take the ferry boat from MK to WL or you can go over to the CR and take a ferry from there. 6 of one, 1/2 doz of another. Since you will be right there, at the boat dock in MK it most likely makes more sense to take the MK ferry boat.
If you leave about an hour for any of these methods you will be fine. We try to look at the 'getting there' as part of the whole experience. That way it doesn't seem like such a waste of time...just part of the adventure.

Thank you so much for the info. :goodvibes That is just what I was looking for...I appreciate your advice and will follow it. I just want to plan thoroughly travelling with a 3 yr. old and an 8 mo. old.
