Hi lovely lot.

Please can someone recommend a baby carrier for a 4 month old in Florida July weather? Trying to avoid us both becoming a puddle of sweat!

Also, we've always hired City Mini strollers in the past because of the ability to fold it by grabbing the handle with one hand (plus it's newborn friendly). Is this still the best bet or do you recommend something else?

Thanks for your help - my last baby is nearly 7 now so I feel out of the loop!!

can not say for July but I know our daughter did not use the carrier she brought for her 4 month old on our August trip. it was too hot for both her and the little one. we used a double for the little one plus her 4 year old big sister

Tula Explore. They're pricey but the quality is incredible and they hold their value very well. If you buy one of the special woven patterns, you should be able to resell it very close to what you bought it for new.

We like the lillebaby, I think the all seasons model? Pretty decent airflow, though for August it might be too humid for either of you to be comfortable. That is a tough age to decide on a stroller! Not quite sitting up but a bassinet configuration might have them climbing out, haha

I think that is way too hot to be carrying a baby for any length of time. They can not regulate their body temperature like adults, and older children can. They will also need constant head covering. If you absolutely need to go to WDW at that time with a baby that age, I would stick to a stroller with a fan that circulates the air, get out of the heat during the hottest time of the day and nurse often so the baby does not dehydrate. You are really in for a challenge.

We had a Lillebaby all seasons, and live in Florida, and I could not use it when it was hot outside. I tried and he got overheated fast (plus I was a puddle!). He stayed in the stroller with 2 fans and a cover, occasionally moving to the carrier when indoors only (shows, restaurants, hotel wandering). I could only wear him when it was cooler outside :(

We love our All Seasons Lillebaby ..but, when we brought our 4 month old last summer we never baby wore much. (Only inside in AC.) It was too hot to baby wear outdoors.

August is the hottest month here in FL, and central Florida is humid as all heck. Get a fan for the stroller and try to do indoor stuff with the little one.
