Travellers cheques

Has anyone ever taken travellers cheques to disneyland paris?
Are they easy enough to use?
Is there plenty of places to change them?
would you recommend to taken some of them and some euros?

I cant think of anywhere in the park where you could cash them. In fact we holiday in France every year and have found that in general over the last few years its become harder to cash them. We have been refused in several banks and one bank only accepted them when they found they were Euro cheques as opposed to stirling. So last year we took Euros and used card to withdraw money however this year it was so much easier.
As I posted on another thread:
Thanks to info on this board before we went at Easter we got an American Express Travellers cheque currency card. This enabled us to load it with Euros online before we went which we then used around the park, village etc. There was no commision and you could add as much or little at a time but it did cost £20 to set up but well worth it. The exchange rate was often better than postoffice rate.

here is the one for the post office travel card same idea i think £10 set up fee can top up before you go use in shops and ATM's no fee for purchases as it is in euros but a fee for cash machines a lot easier than travellers cheques i have put a link above i am not saying it is better than american express as i have no experience of using this card but its just an option worth looking at still works out better than commission on cashing travellers cheques and it means you do not need to carry your other cards around the park and you can't spend what you ain't got
hope this helps you or someone else............i am going to find out about the amec express card myself as it may be better this is the first time i have heard about it on these boards but i am sure either or are better than travellers cheques

SIL cash travellers cheques at City Hall but was not happy as there was a charge and the exchange rate was very poor. This was a few years ago

I note in passing that Martin over at MoneySavingExpert and the lads at Which? both recommend a Nationwide Credit Card because they're a lot cheaper than other forms of plastic abroad. Something to do with currency weightings, apparently.
