Im not sure if Im posting this in the right place, but am wondering for those who drive a long distance to get to WDW or anywhere for that matter and want to have DVD available to your children how do you secure the player in your car if it isnt a standard system? Reason I ask is we are considering taking our laptop and using it as DVD player when the kids get bored on our next 24 hr drive trip. Anyone ever done this? How did it go? Any suggestions would be appreciated. :chat: Thank you so much.

Hi

We drive from MA to MCO every year!
Next week, CANNOT WAIT
Everthing is chapped and I hate this bloody cold!;-(

We take our lap top and my hubby secures it in the middle between the seats with velcro (buy at craft stores) to that as well as the dvd player, we also take a tv/that has a built in VHS in, velcro the same way.
Worked out for us.

We make it less than a day....
have to get there, lots to do and need that FLORIDA SUNSHINE!!!

Hope this helps!:sunny:

Mari anne, Thank you so much for the reply. I never even thought of velcro. We had considered buying oneof those storage thingys that you hang on the back of the seat , the kind that have the fold down shelf on it, and putting it on the shelf. Probably could velcro that huh? Great idea Thanks for the input. Sure beats a bungee cord anyday. LOL
