Traveling with Kids .. My ADR list .. HELP ME

So, this will be my kiddos first trip to Disney. I do believe, I am way more excited than them! They are 2 and 4 and pickey ... They are willing to try new things though! This is a list of dining I am hoping to make reservations for once my 90day window opens in a week or so ... Is there anything you would add or subtract. FYI~ We are using the dining plan so I am trying to book all of our table services ahead of time! Oh and we are staying at CSR

Epcot~ (will be spending 1day)
Le Cellier Steakhouse (thinking dinner)
Cantina de San Angel (if we have time/are hungry)

Magic Kingdom~ (will be spending 2days)
Cinderllas RoyalTable (already reserved and we are paying OOP)
Casey's Corner
Liberty Tree Tavern (dinner?)
The Plaza

Animal Kingdom~ (spending 1day)
Flame Tree BBQ

MGM~ (spending 1day)
SciFi Drive In Theatre
Playhouse Disney Plan n' Dine
Toy Story Pizza Planet
(need to cut something)

Other~
Chef Mickeys (reserved)
Pepper market (in our hotel)
Whispering Canyon Cafe (thinking we might do a carriage ride followed by dinner at WL)

Personally I'd go with Coral Reef at Epcot and skip LeCellier. Much more fun, entertaining and still good food.

With children that young and eating TS inside the Magic Kingdom, CP is a definite in my book. LTT is no longer character.

DHS I'd skip Sci Fi and save that for when they are older. It will still be cool.

As for paying OOP for CRT, I think dropping Sci Fi and paying OOP for say the Plaza is a better deal for you.

I say if you really want the carriage ride, go for it, but you'll have plenty of stimulation for the kids without that. The 5yo is old enough for a pony ride at FW, maybe do that if you want something for the kids.

I would drop LeCellier at Epcot. IMO its not a "kid friendly" place. My DD was 12 when we went there and she hated how dark it was and we weren't impressed with the food. HOWEVER that was 6 years ago and maybe its become more kid friendly? I know a lot of Dis-ers think its great. At DHS I'd do the Play and Dine with young kids and save the others for when they're older. Have a great time!

I agree with the others about LeCellier not being kid friendly. Try Garden Grill. Also, you may want to switch Liberty Tree because there are no more characters. Crystal Palace works.

DHS is a tough one. Sci-Fi is ok, but will be lost on 2 & 4 year olds.

Here is my 2 cents:

* Epcot: instead of La Cantina San Angel, check out Sunshine Seasons...there are a ton of fresh selections that may offer more variety to picky eaters. The food at La Cantina may not look so pretty, unless they are already fans of Mexican.

* MK: Definately agree w/pp...work in Crystal Palace...great food and characters!

I'd also consider using DDP for CRT even though it eats up two TS, especially when you mention The Plaza as a TS option - it's too cheap to "waste" a TS on, especially when you are eating at CRT. JMO.

I think I'd try to work in a couple more buffets especially with having one child under 3 and thus not on DDP.

Your kids might like 'Ohana better than Whispering Canyon, but it depends on your kids.

I also agree with the advice for Crystal Palace. They'll have more fun there than at a character-less LTT. If you do the Plaza, you should just pay OOP for it because it's not a good use of your DDP credits.

At Epcot, I would also change Le Cellier to Coral Reef. Your kids will like seeing the aquarium. We also like Seasons for a CS place because there are lots of quality options.

Another issue with LTT - there is no choice in the dinner menu and no kid's menu at dinner so with picky kids it's very limiting. I read somewhere (can't remember where) that there is no choice with desert unless you want to pay OOP. We ended up switching this for Tony's Town Square which gets mixed reviews but my kid's are older and want no part of Pooh - thus no part of Crystal Palace. Per the 9 year old "Pooh's for babies" Oh, well.

If you are looking for a different Character Meal I've heard good reviews about Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House in AK.

You don't say if you have boys or girls but maybe the Princess Storybook breakfast might appeal for your Epcot Meal.
