Can you travel with film or not?? I am not sure anymore. We have a digital camera,, but I am also going to bring my 35mm camera I think, and I am not sure if I can bring my film that I have for it already, or if I need to buy it and develop it down there??? Any suggestions anyone???

Wow! What a timely question! I need to understand the consequences too, for a March trip we're getting ready to take.

I have a new 35MM camera. It's a nice one. I don't use anything higher than 400 film. (I'm certainly no expert.)

I obviously don't want to put it in my checked luggage, since you can't lock those suitcases anymore. If I could, would I want to anyway (because of the film)? They x-ray those cases too, right?]

If I carry it on: Will they insist on x-raying it? Will that affect the kind of film I'm using? If so, will they hand-search it?

Thanks in advance...
