Would someone be able to tell me if there are any hotels that accept dogs in DisneyWorld.

As far as I know, none of the resorts IN the resort will allow pets -- but I'm sure some right outside of WDW might. You'd probably have to call around!

Good luck!

As far as I know they only place you can have a pet stay with you is at the campsites. To leave the pet in your camper while you are at the park, it must be a hard sided unit. (cannot be left in a tent, pop up, ect)
Other choice is to use the WDW Kennels.

We have 2 small yorkies that we travel with everywhere. Disney does not have a hotel that will allow dogs even though there has been speculation that they are going to build one. I've not seen anything anywhere that they are going to build one but have heard the rumors on other pages. I do HIGHLY recommend their kennels on grounds! My dogs were VERY, VERY, VERY (I can't put enough very's) well taken care of. They took my girls out and walked them several times daily, let me choose what kind of food they were fed from a couple name brand foods, and were general pet lovers. We used the one at the TTC at MK. We could visit whenever we liked, we could choose for them to receive special treats, and we could even choose to have them groomed before we picked them up. The cost was VERY reasonable. It was only $20/day/dog. I could not more highly recommend them to anyone traveling to WDW. My only suggestion is to call and make a reservation for them before you go. You pay arrive, not before you get there. Good luck and I hope you enjoy your trip!!

Disney isn't building a resort that will allow pets. It is building (with another company) a pet resort as an alternative to their kennels. These will not have rooms for people, only pets.

The resorts at Universal will allow pets.

I thought you had to go back and walk your dogs, that WDW wouldn't do it for you, due to liabilities (such as getting bitten or the dog escaping)

The full service kennels will walk and feed your pet. We left our dog at FW kennel for 2 weeks over Christmas and he was very well taken care of:thumbsup2

Nope, I think that is one of the changes since they were taken over by Best Friends Pet Care. We loved taking them with us but not having to be tied down with them. We visited them daily but the girls at the kennel walked them. Now we boarded ours their over night so it might be different if you are just leaving them for the day. They put them on two leashes when they take them out for safety reasons. You have to prove your pet has been vaccinated appropriately in case someone is bite I suppose. I LOVED the kennels! They were great and the girls at the TTC were the best with my babies!

I read a thread on here within the last hour that the pet hotel...only for cats dogs and small pets such as hampsters and birds will open the end of summer it will replace the kennels currently on disney property.

But it's not for people, is it?
