Ok, I'm pretty sure I've lost my mind...However, thiswasn't my idea. My FIL and MIL are obsessed with WDW and HAVE to bring the boys. However, I'm currently 15 weeks pregnant with Twins and not so sure how "up" for the trip I am.
Obviously, the trip is more for the In-Laws than for the kids, but still...What is thrill in bringing them??
Can anybody else vouch for being in our shoes? Is it fun? What kind of things can they do? What things do you all suggest? We'll be there for a week, and THEY are driving down, DH & I are flying down.
Any suggestions would be fab!!

Thank You ALL!!!
Jessica

Honestly there is more to do there than you realize. We took our son when he was 9 months old. We did a few days in Disney than a week long cruise. He was so into the lights and rides. We would get on a ride and he would be mesmerized. It was so neat watching his expressions. You will need to plan breaks into your days, he was an excellent napper and would just fall asleep in his stroller but I realize not every baby is like that. As for you being pregnant...well. My last trip I was pregnant and my 9 month old was now a two year old. I would easily tired out. I also need more water than I would normally need. You will definatly need to take care of yourself! You will need the rest and lots of fluids. It is amazing how quickly you become dehydrated in the Florida sunshine, especially when you are carring twins!
It wasn't bad, we have our next trip planned for December. The oldest will be 3 and the baby will be 11 months old. It is amazing to watch the children as they experience Disney in their many stages. Good luck. Don't worry too much, I am sure you will all have fun. Just don't push yourself! Take breaks when you need them!!!!! :sunny:

Welcome to the Dis! :disrocks:

Holy cow - triplets and pregnant with twins? From a fellow Mother of Twins, congratulations and WOW!!! :earseek:

Come on over to the Traveling with Multiples thread here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=985649&referrerid=70088

I don't know how old your boys are, when you are going, or how far along in your pregancy you are, but I would offer that only YOU can decide if this trip is right for you and your family. As you know, a multiple pregancy is tough, and WDW, the Florida heat and chasing triplets around can be a lot even if you aren't pregnant. At any rate, good luck with your decision making and hope to see you on the multiples thread - lot of good information from other parents of multiples, including those with higher order multiples.

ETA: just realized your triplets are less than a year old, you must be exhausted, especially where they are probably just beginning to want to walk, and you are pregnant. I really don't know if the timing is so great here right now for a WDW trip. Your first priority needs to be taking care of yourself so you can take care of your boys and your unborn babies. Your inlaws need to be reasonable, and may not fully understand the realities of what you are dealing with here. I'd give it an awful lot of thought before I agreed to a trip like this at this point in time. One of my main considerations for you would be the potential for dehydration, heatstroke and exhaustion.

WOW I have singles but they are only 17 months apart so it was hard when they were younger. I can say I drove to WDW with the 2 of them when my DD was only 2 months old but i am crazy anyone will tell you.

I would only say to go on this trip if your Ob says ok. Make sure that hubby and the inlaws are very willing to do this at your pace and the babies pace. Everyone will have to pitch in and help. I know the kids will have a blast my kids did. I would try and get some alone time with huby out of the inlaws one night it may be the only time you get for many years to come.

Congratulations!! You are amazing!

If you do decide to go I would definitely look into the 2 bedroom villa's at OKW, Beach Club, Board Walk or SSR or wilderness lodge. They have a full kitchen equiped with pots, pans, silverware, plates, glasses, dish washer (for the bottles) full size refriderator/freezer (for bottles and formula) 1 king size bed and 1 queen(in different rooms) 2 sofas -( 1 pull out queen/1 pull out full ) (but since the boys are only 10 months old you'd need cribs anyways and with the sofa's you'd have enough room for 3 of them) washer & dryer so you don't need to pack as much, 2 bathroom, jacuzzi tub, walk in shower and a balcony. (please note you have to bring your own laundry soap and bounce- or they do sell it for $1 per box)

Also, if you do rent the villa's you can have a food delivery service deliver groceries to your room. They charge a shopping/delivery fee between $17-32 depending on the order, but you could order breakfast food, milk, snacks and bottled water and soda. Check out the DVC board for more information. Wegoshop.com is one of the delivery services but there are more of them.

God bless you!!
