Can you carry Body Glide in your carry-on bag? I know it is supposed to be like stick deodorant, but is that forbidden, like a gel?

Yes, you can carry it on, but it falls under the 3-1-1 rule for liquids and gels:

3 ounce bottle or less; 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag; 1 bag per passenger placed in screening bin. One-quart bag per person limits the total liquid volume each traveler can bring.
