Traveling in May 2014?

Hi! First time to Disney in May with husband and our girls (6 and 8). I have so many questions. How far in advance do I need to make dining reservations ? Is it really 180 days ? And is it really at mind night ? And how far in advance can I do the FP+ ? If they are doing it by that time. I'm so overwhelmed. We booked our trip yesterday but not sure where to start with the rest. We are staying at AOA in the LK suite. My other question how bad are the stand by lines ? Do I really need it a FP?

Hi, fast pass is good and it's free so for rides like Peter Pan toy story mania they are really needed. I heard May is low crowds for the first half of the month, I am also going in May. Dining reservations are 180 days advanced if you have a dining package you can book for your entire stay at 180 day mark. I would suggest princess dining the one at Epcot or Cinderella royal table at magic kingdom.

Also dining reservations are extremely important if you don't book any you will end up eating quick services your entire stay. Also chef mickey is a popular character dining I would suggest breakfast. I been going to disney since I am a baby your family will have a wonderful time.

We like castle for dinner and all other character meals as breakfast, not huge fan of buffets.
