Traveling in a Group

I'm going to be traveling with a group around Christmas time (14 People). We will be having four rooms at Pop Century. I was wondering if anyone has traveled with that many people? Do the resorts assign the rooms in the same location? Has anyone had problems with group travel?

We stayed in All-Star Movies with a group of 14 in June 2002 in 4 rooms. All 4 rooms were next to each other.

The only recommendation that I can make is to be flexible and not try to do everything together! You will drive yourself crazy if you do. We had 4 families, 3 of which had been to the World before. We began trip discussions about 6 months prior, to come up with some loose plans. We tried to plan one group meal and one group event (fireworks, parade, etc) per day. Of the 5 days that we were there, we only managed to follow the plan on 1 of those days, and I believe that was because the 2 events (Cinderella breakfast and Hoop-Dee-Doo) had required a credit card payment. There always seemed to be at least one family missing from a group meeting, sometimes two.

We did have some nice spur of the moment get togethers in parks and the food court and the pool.

I recommend making sure that your cell phones will work in that area - this was our best method of communication.

We had 3 rooms right next to each other at the All Stars when we went with 12 people.
