Traveling From Wdw To Sandestin

we are leaving WDW & traveling to San Destin. Can you tell me what city is about 1/2 way so i can get prices on a motel there. Just wanted to see if it would be cheaper staying another night at wdw or booking a room 1/2 way to destin???

Can anyone help me with this, I found a motel in Lake City Florida. I think the name is Knight Inn? Anyone know about this motel?? Just staying one night so not looking for anything special, just a safe place.

If it were me I would stay another night at Disney. We used to live in Fort Walton Beach(15-20 minutes from Destin) and the drive from Orlando to there isn't bad at all. We always stop in Lake City to eat, but never stop overnight.

You can do the drive in one day, if not less.

If you are not in a hurry try us 27 to Perry then US 98.

There is a nice road side park in Carrabelle on the Gulf.

Mind the speed limits, some of the towns need the money.

If you want to make it an overnighter, there is the Gibson Inn in Apalachicola.
