Traveling alone w/child: Crazy?

Mama Twinkles said:
Were any of you quite anxious beforehand? That's how I'm feeling right now, though less so because of your words.

I can definitely understand your trepidation, as I'm feeling the same way right now. I'm planning a trip with my 3 kids (8,7,6) and myself for the fall. While we're used to it being just the four of us all the time and we vacation every year to the beach, but this will be their first trip to WDW, and I'm nervous about losing them in the crowd or them not having fun or enjoying the trip (an unlikely fear for sure.. ;) ). I probably won't stop worrying until we get back. :guilty:

Anyway, the memories that you'll make will last forever, so I'm sure you'll go and have a great time....

After the twins were born, my dh sent me and our oldest ds (then 5) to WDW for 5 days. We had the BEST time! It's one of the most cherished experiences of my life so far. I let him set the pace and really saw things through his eyes. We're all going back this summer (the twins will be 15 months old), and I can't wait. As fun as it will be with the whole family, nothing will ever replace those memories!
