Travelex or Access America

Can not decide on which insurance company for the trip Travelex or Access America. Both are about the same price Travelite $95.00 or Access America with AAA discount $89.00.

We used Access America before and they were very good...even paid our claim from the hurricane cruise.

This cruise I purchased Travelex...they were a bit less expensive and I heard good things about them as well.

We've chosen the Travelex Lite for our upcoming cruise. Had the coverage we need at a great price.

I would stay away from Access America. My parents purchased trip insurance through them in 2000. Three months before their trip, my father was diagnosed with cancer. He passed away 6 weeks later.

Access America would NOT process our claim. I had to get our state's attorney general's office involved. I still don't understand why they wouldn't pay the claim.
