Travelers cheques or Treverlers Cheque Card?

DH would like to know which you all recomend, the traverlers cheques or teh travelers cheques card and why please.

Someone may be able to come along and give you the particulars, but what I remember is that there was a fairly large fee for getting the traveler's check CARD.

I like travellers' checks because I have an easy visual check of how well I am staying on budget. It is too easy for me to lose track of what I have spent with the card.

I'm in your camp, JetMom. Plus, when I have checked on the travelers check card there is a fee to activate and ATM fees to access cash. We get free travelers checks through our bank so travelers checks it will be.

Thanks everyone! I actually rememebered to ask my bank today and they were telling me about the fees as well. I guess it is settled, Travelers Cheques it is.

PLUS I remember there being certain things you could not use the card to pay for, like hotels bills, it was a weird deal.

I just get traveles checks in, $100. checks ,and thats our food money and souvineer money for the day!! Most days were under that some over. But it was easy to see what you had spent.
