Traveler's checks

This isn't really a budget-type question, but where do I go to get traveler's checks & do they cost anything? The bank, AAA? I haven't had a need for any for ohhh sooo many years now, I've forgotten where the heck I got them the last time. Any help for my ailing mind will be appreciated. Thanks.

AAA has free Travelers cheques for two or one. This is assuming you are a AAA member.
If not, check with your bank, the charge is usually about 1% of the total purchased.
