I always see on here the really great tips about the world, but what about for us? Do you have any travel toiletries/make up tips?

Personally I love BareMinerals for their travel friendly packaging (it locks! never realized till my last trip) and will always bring a mini disposable loofa with me. I just throw it out at the end of the trip - 50 cents I won't miss!

Also, I've been trying for years to find an acceptable shampoo/conditioner combo and have failed to date. I hate having to bring two separate bottles for each (I like to travel with as little as possible!) and would love to find something that would wash my hair as well as leave it conditioned for the rest of the day. I have pretty thick/long hair, if that helps! :wizard:

One suggestion for shampoo & conditioner - I found some refillable bottles (maybe 3 oz each) that I use for shampoo & conditioner. I have not found a 2-in-1 that works well for my hair, but using the small bottles has worked well for me for the last several years. I usually can get away with using about 1/2 of the shampoo I bring along, and maybe just a little more conditioner, over the course of a week - 10 days.

I have long, thick hair as well. When on vacation in FL I always take a bottle of Herbal Essences Hello Hydration 2in1 with me . It keeps my hair from not being super dry. Besides that, if you're going to be there in the summer, because its so hot my hair is always up in a claw clip to keep it off my neck and back - so even if it does get a lil dry in the day I don't notice :woohoo:.

i shop at wal mart they have a section for travelers on shampoo, lotion and other travel needs that will fit in a zip lock bag

I love Oil of Olay's 2in1 daily Facial Cloths. They pack well, work well for my combination skin and then I don't have to worry about packing a cream cleanser. I, too, cannot find a 2in1 shampoo that works well. I don't think one exists:scratchin.

I will take this a step further. I refuse to use a 2 in one so just pack some of each. I pack my faves in travel bottles and label (the labels are for TSA - I know the difference between shampoo and conditioner. . .lol) I also use mineral makeup on vacation because I can leave most of it behind.
