Travel to the Honda Center

Hi all, hoping some of you folks may be able to help me with a couple questions.

We fly out to the States on Saturday and amongst our Disneyland visits we have 2 trips to the Honda Center - too see the Foo Fighters and the Ducks.

1. What would be your recommended option of travel be? Bus/Cab/Drive - We were thinking the former 2 as we might like a drink but will go for the latter if it's a hassle.
2. If cab where can you pick one up around Disney? Is there somewhere near Downtown Disney? any ideas on pricing from those of you who have done it?
3. I assume bus will be cheapest so may be the best option? If bus is simple enough where would you recommend catching it from? It appears the 50 stops near Cheesecake factory Garden walk and the Katella convention center - which would be closest from the esplanade?
4. Finally - this will sound like a stupid question but we have experienced some different things in different countries - how do you hail a bus, will it automatically stop if there are people at the stop, do you need to put your hand out etc?

I can't help with answers but thanks for asking. Hubble wants to take us to a Ducks game and I was wondering how we'd do it.

Not familiar with the bus system there, but a taxi would run about $20 =/- each way. http://www.taxifarefinder.com/main.php?city=Anaheim-CA&lang=en; There's cabs around the park frequently so finding one shouldn't be a problem. If you do take the bus they'll stop at the stops if there's people waiting for it. Have fun on your trip and hope you enjoy the game!

Looks like the ART. Anaheim Resort Transportation has route # 15 from the Disneyland transit to the Honda Center. Every 30 minutes. It says last bus is 11:30. Not sure if that means leaving the HC.

On our last trip, we took Uber from Disneyland to the Anaheim Amtrak station, which is very close to the Honda Center. Cost was about $10.

You are right, OCTA bus 50 runs along Katella. You catch the bus at a bus stop.
Basically a street corner will have a OCTA bus sign you stand under. Near Disneyland,
these would be green benches with a roof over them. Also the OCTA post at the stop will
have additional information you can review like the map. Also can receive texts for
updates when the next bus arrives. It's not a bad ride if you can catch it.

- To Catch bus - At bus stop
- To Exit bus - Pull yellow cord on bus asking driver to stop.

To answer the Qs...

1) Uber/Lyft or Bus are good options. Taxi can be a last resort.

2) Usually Taxis are right outside Downtown Disney or the Hotels. Also the Front Desks
of the Hotels will help hail a taxi if needed.

3) Generally each intersection has a bus stop. You'll need to cross the street from Gardenwalk
to catch the 50 bus to Honda Center.

4) Bus stops are setup and run on a periodic basis. Route 50 runs every 30-60 mins. Depending on
the stop you can text to see when the next bus is due to arrive. Text options are available for updates.

I think we will give the bus a go on Saturday and see how it goes. We can always drive on the Sunday if needs be.
