Travel times from FW

Our first trip to WDW and FW is a week away!

I need an idea of how long it takes to travel anywhere.

We will have our own car and will take it all parks except MK.

We will have a golf cart.

We will have AAA special parking in the parking lots.

How much time do we allow to get to the GATES of
Epcot
DHS
AK

What time should we be at the dock to get to MK for a 9:00 opening?

I will have a double (side by side) stroller. Do I need to break it down for the boat to MK?

I think by law, your supposed to fold the stroller, but Ive seen many strollers right in the middle isle blocking everyone in, completely open, kid crashed. So I may be wrong.....wouldnt be the first time!!

AK is the longest drive. From the time you get in your car to the time you put you ticket in at the park. I would allow 45 min. to a hour to get to any of the parks if your trying to get there and see them open the gates. Generally its never more than 10 to 20 min. of driving any where around disney but by the time you park and walk or wait for a tram it can take some time. The AAA parking is nice we used it this last time its about the same as geting to park in handicap. It will normally take 5 to 10 min. just to get out of FW depending on what loop you are in. Going to MK the boat ride is about 10 to 15 min. As long as they are still going strait to MK and not stopping at WL. If they are stopping at WL add 10 min. Most of the time there is a boat at the dock when we are going to MK but some times we have just missed it and had to wait 5 to 15 min. Hope this helps my times are not exact but when we are at WDW I dont punch the clock.

With the stroller if there is no one in a ecv then you can push it on the boat and stand in front with it. But this is also where they put the people in ecv so if its full you might have to break it down.
