Hi all! First time poster here.

Hubby & I are doing our first ever no kids trip for our 10 year anni in September. We have most everything planned out, but are debating on a time for the carriage ride at POR. We have a spa appt. at Grand Floridian at 5 (should be over around 6) and a reservation at Flying Fish at 7:25. We either want to do a dusk ride around 6:30 or after dinner ride for 9:30. I would prefer the dusk time, but am worried we will be pressed for time traveling from GF to POR in time for the ride, then from POR to FF in time for dinner. We aren't new to Disney property in general, but have never had reservations anywhere so I can't say I'm comfortable knowing we'd make it or not. We will have our own car (we live in the area). What do you guys think? Will we have enough time for the dusk ride or should we wait til after dinner?

Thanks in advance! :goodvibes

I doubt you will be able to do the one at dusk. If you get out of the GF spa by 6, it's going to take you about 15 mins or so to drive to POR. Same thing if you take a cab...then add in the time to have the carriage ride. There is no way you are going to make it back to BW for your Flying Fish ADR.
Even the one for after dinner may be close. FF is a great restaurant. I would hate to have to rush through a great meal in order to get to POR!! You really should allow about 90 mins for your dinner. Then 15 mins over to POR.
That's just too much rushing for me in one night. I wouldn't try it. Is there anyway you could change one of those to a different night? Or, push your FF ADR to a later time??

Even if you have a car (or plan on using a cab), you should leave at least 30 mins from point A to point B. If you want to do it using Disney transportation? Between 60 and 90 mins!!!

Best case scenario if you want to do it all??? GF Spa at 4:00. Leave there at 5:15, get to POR. Do the dusk carriage ride. Then, over to BW and FF for an ADR at 8:30/8:45ish.

Thanks for the advice! We are gonna look back at our plans and see what we can rearrange/reschedule.

Hope it works out. There is just nothing worse than stressing about time!!! You should be enjoying a nice trip together, not worrying about not making it to something on time!!
