Travel time from BC to DTD

Can anyone tell me what the travel time is from BC to DTD by bus? I had read that it can take a long time to get there and there could be multiple stops. I read give yourself an hour and a half if you are going there for Cirque du Soleil. While I am just going to DTD for dinner and shopping I am not interested in an hour of travel time each way and will not go if that is the case. So I asked the CM when I was changing my park tickets and he said it would only be like 10 minutes and there shouldnt be any other stops. Can someone tell me which is true please!!!! Don't ever plan on getting anywhere in 10 minutes using Disney Transportation, you may have to wait twice that long just for the bus to come.

Don't get me wrong Disney Transportation does a great job moving people and for the price you can't beat it. But that being said always plan at least an hour to get anywhere by bus, ( by Disney's own recommendations ) you might get lucky and it could be less if everything goes smoothly. Better to get where your going a little early than late.

If you want to get to DTD quickly take a cab at a cost of approx $12 plus tip, and it will only take 10 minutes.

Ten minutes is about how long the actual drive will take. However, this does not include the time it will take you to walk to the bus stop, wait for the bus, wait for everyone to get on, and since the Epcot resorts frequently share buses any additional stops (even if the CM said "there shouldn't be any other stops.") I would allow at least 45 minutes, but agree with the previous poster that 60 minutes is a good rule of thumb especially if you have a restaurant reservation at DTD.
